Role mission
Supply Chain Business Analyst is a key person in Inventory Planning
Department, with the specific mission of monitoring Supply Chain performance.
This role is even in charge of innovation projects in order to support the development of new tools and new process in a complex luxury market.
Key Accountabilities
To support Senior Inventory Planners to set the correct target of inventory at SKU and store level on the base of coverages, sales trend and stores capacity
To monitor situations of over/under stock and to suggest action to react
To implement tools (Excel, Access and even in SQL) in order to support the analysis of Inventory Planning Area (raw data are extracted by BI tools or by ODBC)
To produce weekly report on Supply Chain performance: sales results, coverages and inventory
To produce presentation on Supply Chain performance
To collaborate in new projects and, specifically, to monitor the project status and to validate data of new tools
This role will be in charge of stock rebalancing among stores and regions
The role is in staff to the Central Inventory Planner Manager
Key Requirements
At least two years of experience in the same role or in a similar position
Bachelor degree in scientific subjects (economics, management engineering or related fields)
Strong analytical abilities
Sound Experience in using Windows, Excel, Access and BI tools to monitor performance and KPI
Ability to develop VBA and/or SQL queries
Experience of Supply Chain process, better if gained in a Luxury Industry or as a consultant
Knowledge of Forecasting Techniques
Experience in using ERP tools (AS400 and/or SAP)
Detail oriented and extreme accuracy
Ability to lead cross-functionally
Availability to travel
