Internship within Intellectual Property Department
Role Mission:
The internship contemplates a full-time activity in the field of Intellectual Property (IP), particularly in Trademarks, Designs and Copyrights related matters as well as in anti-counterfeiting and TM portfolios area and legal counseling for Gucci.
Key Accountabilities:
Assistance in collecting evidences of use for preparing and supporting the cases;
Assistance in carrying out researches, filings and verifications (both on-line and off-line);
Assistance in drafting and reviewing different kinds of documents, in English and in Italian (e.g. C&D letters; searches and clearances; agreements; letter of consent, oppositions etc.);
Support in preparing analysis, legal opinions and in carrying out legal researches;
Help in elaborating standard documents and to keep updated our records and files;
Support in collecting signatures of documents, POAs, invoices and preparing cover notes and summary of the cases;
Support in reviewing products and monitoring Internet and social media accounts.
Requirements:
University Degree in Law;
Master in IP could be appreciated and a plus;
Excellent knowledge of English and Italian both spoken and written;
Experience and background in Trademark Law and in the IP field appreciated;
Proficient in using Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
High ethical standards and integrity, high level of discretion and accountability;
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is a must;
Flexible, motivated and able to adapt to a constant changing environment;
Team work and good communication and interpersonal skills;
Flexibility and willingness to meet all of the legal department’s needs (both large and small).
