Role Mission
We’re looking for an e-Commerce Buying Manager. He/she will be responsible of the buying process managing for the whole Europe e-Commerce channel on all categories for both Men, Women and Kids. The e-Commerce Buying Manager must guarantee the best buying process in order to maximize the overall sales.
Key Accountabilities
Work on and manage the buying process for all the categories for the European online store, ensuring Seasonal product selection and purchases maintaining coordination across all categories
Develop and improve the buying process for e-commerce channel in new countries
Manage the plan sales and open to buy by category and collection (Seasonal and Carryover)
Optimize and target buying on e-Commerce market needs and exploit all opportunities to ensure maximum growth
Develop with Buyers a request of key product images in order to support the buying strategy and target sales during the season
Strong relationships with e-Commerce team, Business Planning and Style
Work in a synergic way with WW Digital Merchandising to ensure alignment with the brands image and placement
Partner with EMEAIR Buyers in order coordinate on all the categories
Analyze sales, inventory, price and selling trends
Maximize sales results and product performance in order to achieve planned objectives
Work with Buyers for monitoring the business also by collaborating with the e-Store Manager, Regional Merchandiser and WW Content Management
Supervise website product merchandising, placement and visibility to optimize sales and alignment with buying strategy
Guarantee the right product rotation adopting price action policies
Ensure the achievement of BDG and FCT
Define product communication strategic actions
Estimate the Loss Mkd to retail for season
Work on competitors’ analysis
Study and understand trends and online markets
Manage a continuous and successful team growth
Upgrade and improvement of IT systems
Key Requirements
Successful studies in business management, majoring in business administration or marketing
At least 7/10 years of experience in similar context
Fluent in Italian and English
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude
A previous experience within Digital environment is a plus
Exceptional aesthetic and product understanding
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong passion for opportunity presented

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and growing environment
Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
Ability to understand current fashion market trends and buying psychological mindset
