Electrical Program Engineer
Adecco – Euro Engineering engineering consulting brand – is currently working for a multinational company leader in lighting solutions field, and is looking for a:
Program Engineer
The candidate will be placed within the Product Development Group to lead engineering products. The candidate will be an important reference in development of new LED lighting fixtures for EMEA market: according with NPI process the Project Manager will manage activities, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. As part of the role work can involve external partners such as regulatory agencies and supplier. As an Electrical Engineer he performs also electrical, functional and safety testing for LED lighting luminaire about assigned programs and oversee external test activities
Duties:
Manage a cross-functional project team to develop and launch new Lighting fixtures on time at committed product cost, product specifications and quality/reliability targets;
Application of NPI process on new products development;
Developments of schedules, budget, critical deliverables, and other support requirements;
Manages activities of supporting project team and internal development partners;
Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders;
Collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues and produce solutions;
Perform electrical and regulatory tests on LED lighting fixtures;
Oversee of external test activities, mostly regulatory activities.
Requirements:
MS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering;
Skilled in program management and testing activities;
Minimum 3-4 years in product development environment;
Demonstrated experience in product development;
Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient while managing multiple projects;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Fluent English;
Willing to travel both domestic and international;
Preferences:
Design level experience with lighting and/or lighting systems;
Experience with LED lighting products a plus;
Manufacturing experience.
