Internship Supply Chain and Enviromental P&L
Role Mission
As part of Kering group, Gucci is committed to support the development of the first group Environmental Profit & Loss report, to be published in 2016. This new reporting system will be able to measure the impact of our business on ecosystems and biodiversity. The goal is not just to deliver a new reporting approach, but to find new ways to enhance the sustainability of our products, improve our performance and deepen our understanding of production impacts.
Key Accountabilities
Measuring the environmental footprint across our entire supply chain and the different product categories
Measuring water use and water pollution, waste, greenhouse gas, other air emissions etc. beyond our own operations into our productions processes
Understand and identify opportunities to better manage our environmental impacts in order to be effective and make real improvements and to lessen the impact of our existing materials and production processes
Key Requirements
University Degree preferably in Management, Environmental or Quality Engineering
Strong interest in green management, corporate sustainability strategies and sustainable business models. A specialization in a related field will be considered a plus.
Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken
Strong analytical and organization skills
Proficient in using Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Familiarity with project management tools and methods
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is a must
Efficient and able to demonstrate a can-do attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
International study experience will be considered a plus
