Role Mission

The E-Business Front End Interactive Specialist is focused in creating best-in-class experiences for web, mobile, and emerging platforms with a focus on JavaScript development. He/she will act as liaison between WW Digital (business team) and Digital, eBusiness MIS for the implementation and the execution of technical front-end solutions.

Key Accountabilities
Define, create, measure and document standard for front-end performance & coding and related coding best practices and methods for Gucci.com in accordance with eBusiness application architect and e-business front-end designer.
Provide support to organize and optimize team methods for coding and coding environments in accordance with e-business application architect and e-business front-end designer.
Provide support and guidance for transitioning legacy front-end implementations into new architecture to eBusiness Application Architect and e-business front-end designer.
Build front-end prototyping efforts for all next generation and future phases of Gucci.com.
Work closely with Art Director, UX Strategist and front-end designer to rapidly develop working HTML prototypes that we can user test, gain insight and act upon.
Lead efforts to create reusable front-end framework that can be utilized for ongoing and future initiatives in all mobile devices.
Create and maintain a coherent future looking responsive breakpoint strategy and strategy for implementation.
Responsible with eBusiness front end designer from the technical front-end point of view of the implementation and the creation of key templates or solutions.
Develop and maintain the Javascript code base
Work for integration with partners API (examples: Email providers, address verification providers, maps,…)
The interactive developer needs to constantly innovate and maintain a broad knowledge of development principles, industry trends, and emerging technologies

Job Requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and Javascript libraries (ex: Jquery, Modernizr,..)
Excellent knowledge of Ajax using XML and JSON
Excellent HTML5 and CSS skills including CSS pre-processor (Sass/Compass, LESS, Bourbon)
Very good experience in progressive enhancements, accessibility and SEO best practice (Unobtrusive Javascript)
Node.js experience including task automation (Grunt, Gulp) and package management (Bower, npm)
Degree in Computer science, Engineering or any other with background in Information Technology, Information system, ecommerce or similar fields.
Experience with performance testing and optimization
Fluent in English and Italian
Expert in responsive design methodology and frameworks (ex:Bootstrap)
GIT, SVN experience
Experience in the working in agile methodology environment
Experience consuming REST API
