Mission
The candidate will join the Gucci RTW Buy Product Development and will handle the product development process of the RTW Gucci Kids collection
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Tech Packs ( definition of styles in terms of materials, workmanship, measurements and fit )
Manage handover from Design to supplier ensuring complete information is provided Engineer workable prototypes that address the desired Design and Merchandising requests and commercial viability
Actively drive costing of the collection and price & timing negotiations according to Collection plan
Cooperation with Production team
Key Requisitions
• college or university degree with emphasis on clothing technology and/or manufacturing or comparable education
• progressive work experience in the garment / textile industry- min. 5 years
• excellent expertise of production garment construction, fit and manufacturing as well as awareness of the supply chain ( allocation, planning, production lead times )
• good knowledge of material construction and related testing
• good planning and organizational skills
• excellent communication skills
• good interpersonal and influencing skills
• pro- active
• language skills: Italian, English – fluent
