Role Mission
As Gucci.com continues its aggressive online growth, we are looking for a forensically driven e-Marketing and Analytics Manager who has the experience and motivation to drive profitable growth across online marketing channels.
Equally important, we are looking for someone who has motivating leadership skills and the enthusiasm for sharing his/her knowledge and best practices throughout the organization – across regional eCommerce teams and functions such as MIS, Finance, and Communications.
Key Accountabilities
Develop annual traffic plan and revenue projections based on online marketing assumptions for the European and Middle Eastern business
Optimize the performance of SEO, SEM and Email for Gucci.com in Europe and in Middle East (currently 23 countries)
Performance is defined as the profitable growth of these channels and the optimization between free search and paid search
SEO: prioritize SEO enhancements to the site based on level of effort and impact to revenue
SEM: review SEM campaigns and identify opportunities improve ROI. Communicate learning with the other regions
Optimize keywords and copy, and test landing page
Create test plan for email campaigns designed to drive product sales. Execute A/B testing on creative templates, messaging, product presentation, timing, and contact database
Analyze and report on optimization results
Co-ordinate with key linkage groups on optimization – CRM, Communications and MIS
Recommend, test and deploy eMarketing channels that are currently not implemented at Gucci
Using web analytic tools identify opportunities to exploit market developments
Track competitors – both in the luxury space and best-in-class retailers. Benchmark KPIs against industry
Present learning and best practices on a quarterly basis across the organization – regions and functions (Finance, Communications, MIS, CRM)
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
4+ years in eCommerce marketing with deep channel experience – SEO, SEM, Affiliates, Display, Email
Knowledge of the Europe eBusiness World
Previous work experience in product eCommerce
Previous experience on Russian and Middles East eCommerce markets is a plus
Proven analytical skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with one or more web analytics tool: e.g. Coremetrics, Omniture, WebTrends, and/or Google Analytics
A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Can effectively communicate rationale to senior management
Fluent both in Italian and English
